Trying to rule out OBS causing "crash" while using RetroArch

I have been using OBS for a while now without any issue, but I recently switched emulators to RetroArch 1.20.00. Now I am getting crashes nearly every 30 minutes, though "crashes" might not be the right term. My monitor turns off for about 30 seconds, then when it comes back on, my sound settings are muted and RetroArch is sort of frozen (display moves very slowly) and needs to be restarted.

I want to rule out OBS because I have tried using RetroArch without OBS/recording, and I haven't run into any issues. I suspect OBS is the issue. Log file attached.

I had it happen to me twice today...

I've only just started using Retroarch, I use official Xbox wireless controllers for the PC with a official receiver.

Quite often I get (multiple) messages come up in the left hand corner from Retroarch saying "Xbox controller connected" even though it is already connected and running fine.

During this time the PC can have a very slight freeze.. and while streaming today it totally crashed my OBS mid stream. When I restarted the stream I also noticed my stream deck was unresponsive to, for example I could not mute my mic and other button were knocked out to.

Disabling the messages dose nothing.. I cannot figure it out.

Yes you can rule out OBS if your monitors are all going black....this is your GPU driver crashing.
