Amazing tool in concept, extremely helpful and solves many problems for graphic designers.

Unfortunately, in practice it's way too unreliable for use in commissioned designs. Randomly breaks, and sending out individual updates to my clients is way too much of a hassle and not realistic.

Very nice, love it!

This is one of those "why didn't anyone do this sooner?" kind of plugins. Looking forward to seeing what features could be added in the future and how others are implementing it. Hopefully it gets the attention it deserves.

Source Record is not reliable for me...

The plugin "Branch Output" is to me superior for source recording. And there's a KILLER FEATURE: a docking view of the plugin!

The docking view lets you monitor multiple source recordings in real time with key statistics like recording status, dropped frames, file size, and bitrate. It also makes navigation easier with quick hyperlinks for adjusting filters on the fly.

My friends, say goodbye to corrupted files... Branch Output look like a much more reliable choice. If andilippi makes a video about this plugin it will go huge!

Ever wanted to pack up your entire stream and take it somewhere without taking your PC? Load this up and export everything including your source files as a backup and use it ANYWHERE. I use this to auto backup my scene collections to my Google Drive. Never lose all your work!

Truly awesome! Been waiting for something like this for a while. I would love to be able to set it up for multiple monitors natively. My current work around is to duplicate and rename the script then add it again, and add the same shortcut for both screens in the OBS settings. Thx!

Simple, does exactly what you want with all the control you need, and (as an 80s kid) disturbingly beautiful. I swear the VHS still blinks 12:00.

Didn't work. Had to install version 1 then overwrite dll with Version 2. Now it works just fine.

I tried ImDino's review/comment below but his instruction was incorrect and I couldn't get it working. Nevertheless I thank you ImDino because of what you said hinted me to the right direction and i was able to fix it for myself.

Those who want to know how to get it running, follow these steps instead

Skip Step 1-3 if you've already downloaded and installed v1 before

1. Navigate to 'https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/stream-recording-start-stop-beep-srbeep-unsupported.392/'
2. Click 'Go to download' to download version 1
3. Move the SRBeep Folder in 'Downloads\SRBeep\windows\obs-studio\data\obs-plugins\' to 'C:\Program Files\obs-studio\data\obs-plugins\'
4. Rename the folder you just moved to 'SRBeep2'
5. Navigate to 'https://github.com/eebssk1/SRBeep2/releases/tag/v2.2.0'
6. Download 'SRBeep2.dll'
7. Move it to 'C:\Program Files\obs-studio\obs-plugins\64bit'
8. Delete SRBeep.dll from 'C:\Program Files\obs-studio\obs-plugins\64bit'

Branch Output is a fantastic alternative to Source Record, which I found quite obscure and often lacking visibility—resulting in occasional corrupted files. With Branch Output, we have a complete dashboard to monitor our recording sources, including real-time updates on recording status, dropped frames, file size, and bitrate.

It’s a blessing to have all this information when recording multiple sources during a live stream!

The hyperlinks allow me to quickly access specific filters, making navigation and adjustments a breeze. Overall, this plugin has significantly alleviated the frustrations I experienced with Source Record. Thank you for creating such an effective solution!
