Desktop audio coming through mic/aux

I just updated OBS on MacOS yesterday to the most recent version.

I had no issues prior to yesterday when it came to the separation of my mic and my desktop audio in my mixer. I use a UA Apollo audio interface with a mic. My advanced audio properties show that my mic and desktop audio are both set to Monitor Off. But my Mic/Aux and Desktop Audio are both receiving the desktop audio. The mic/aux is also receiving the mic signal. It's both. Desktop audio is just desktop audio, not both.

In global audio devices I have Desktop Audio as Default and Mic/Aux as my Apollo interface. All of this was normal yesterday.

What is going on here?

Hi there, I'm experiencing a similar issue. Do you have an echo effect or not ? What baffles me is that in the OBS mixer, my mic visually picks up the sound from my Elgato even when physically unplugged... but there's no echo effect or anything like that. It's baffling.

It turns out that my issue was specific to my audio interface. I have an Apollo Twin made by Universal Audio. Somehow one of the OBS updates ruined the ability to use the Apollo Twin with OBS. It was that simple and dumb.

Your issue sounds like a mess too. Your mic source picking up the audio from youtube (for example)?
