Question / Help Capture card that doesnt need high specs requirement

Hello, im planning to buy capture card ONLY for live streaming using my dslr camera, what im gonna ask, What capture card that suits me best??
Im currently using macbook pro 13” (mid 2012) . Processor 2,5Ghz Intel Core i5, 4gb ram, and Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536mb
And with that spec, can i run 1080 from my camera to my obs smoothly?

8 year old midrange CPU and integrated GPU only. Possible but unlikely.

I suggest capture devices from Magewell, BlackMagic and AJA as being reliable and MacOS compatible. Avoid Elgato.

Hello thank you for your reply, is it really hd60s doesnt compatible with mac and obs? And btw can you suggest what series of blackmagic that around the same price with hd60s?

Yes the HD60S does not work well with macs. I do not think your laptop can handle the streaming well.
