5070 ti Encoding Overload

After upgrading from a 3080 to a 5070 Ti, I've started experiencing regular technical issues with OBS. OBS is running as administrator. The problem occurs a few times per session, usually during map loading in Tarkov. At that moment, the game begins to stutter heavily, and OBS shows an "Encoding Overload" message.

I don't think it's a GPU overload issue because the same OBS settings worked fine with the 3080. Restarting OBS doesn't help, but restarting the game itself temporarily resolves the problem.

Start disabling HAGS
Windows Game Mode should be enable. It do help.
You may need to reinstall the GPU driver as some people fix issues with their new GPU doing so.
Run again the Auto-configuration Wizard. Restart OBS and test.

Change the rate control to CQP, 18 to 16, TU4. Look-ahead and psycho visual tuning disable.
Or change from advanced output to simple output and select a good recording quality preset as indistinguishable.
Test.

Take into consideration that latests nvidia drivers have performance issues.

It is in fact an overload issue, the two circumstances you are comparing are not the same. Set your recording preset to P1 in settings>output instead of P6 and test again.
