Hey guys wasn't sure if this was the best section of the forum to post this in, but i was curious what everyone uses as a recording file format.
I've been using mkv lately because people said this format doesnt go corrupt when a crash happens. I hate remuxing recordings but ill do it to save files from going corrupt the problem is that i keep getting unplayable recordings whenever obs or my computer has a crash. I used to use flv but iirc the issues with flv was worse than mkv.
Does anyone know of a way to avoid files going bad in case of a crash? I need a format that can support multiple audio tracks, that can then be remuxed or straight edited in something like vegas, and that doesnt go bad when obs crashes.
Any suggestions?
