Question / Help VPS FOR OBS (PRE-RECORDED VIDEO)

Hi guys,

So I'm planning to use OBS to stream a pre-recorded video and I was wondering if it's possible to use a VPS to do that, knowing that I wanna live stream for days/weeks (so I cannot let my PC run for so long) and as I said, my video is already recorded (I don't know if this makes any change).

If yes, I would like you to recommend me some minimum-specs for the VPS.;

A vps is not suited for OBS, since a vps usually do not have a physical GPU, which OBS does rely on. OBS needs a physical GPU to composite and render the video stream.
If you just want to stream some prerecorded video, you can use much simpler software that does no videoprocessing and compositing at all, for example plain ffmpeg.
