The most current version of OBS 31.0.2. crashes at startup on Mac.

Hi,
The above version crashes at startup, but OBS 31.0.0. does not I'm not sure how to get a log report on 31.0.2
because it crashes 1st thing. Perhaps the issue is only on my Mac OS Ventura 13.7.5

Thanks

I'm having this same issue on an older mac, running catalina, was working fine, then all of a sudden won't open. No matter what, I've uninstalled, cleaned, debugged and tried older versions, but same result.

It sounds like a bug in the new version perhaps? I don't remember if it worked a period of time or not, but it might have fresh. I took the scenes out in the new version and I think it work, but when reloading it the crashing started. I have older versions on my Mac, so it might have something to do with it, but I don't know. Good luck!

I've gone back as far version 24.0.5 - I'm just gonna have to stream raw off of Twitch directly I can't even get Streamlabs to work is there something deeper in my system that I'm completely missing? No versions that are compatible with cataline are loading I just get the crash window every time, no matter what I clean, uninstall or re upload, I have 16 gigs of ramm, but it needs more immutibale memory? It was working this time yesterday what could've changed? I've removed Elgator wavelength, didn't even have time to add more plugins, this is so baffling.

Hi! I was having the exact same problem.

I am also running MacOS Ventura 13.7.5.

And I am on an *Intel iMac*. Not silicon.

For me, the issue was that the OBS installer downloaded the macos silicon version and installed that instead of the Intel one.

It took me a bit to figure out, until I checked Applications and realised the OBS icon had the tell-tale circle/slash through it.. which I usually associate with *older* apps that aren't compatible with Ventura. But this time it's a Silicon app not compatible with Intel.

Solution was easy, download intel 31.0.2 from website.

Is that it?
