Question / Help Sources Disappear When Transitioning Between Scenes

We are a livestream team who broadcast from a Windows Desktop (OBS: v. 22.0.02 ) and are experiencing an issue with sources (both video and .png) that disappear when we transition between scenes.

Our manual set-up has a "loading screen" as we wait for viewers to join us on YT and Periscope, and when we transition back to our "main" scene, a number of sources have turned themselves off. Both are set to "loop" so it's not an issue of the element playing til the end.

I am experiencing a similar issue six years after similar posts. I have an audio source (Presonus 24c) which interfaces an old Mackie analog soundboard to our streaming computer. This sound source is applied to both cameras that we switch between. When either of those cameras are selected, the 24c shows up in the mixer section and shows sound activity. However, if we select some scenes which are basically slides, the 24c tends to disappear from the sound mixer section. This is troubling to the operator because they believe they sound portion of the cast is now off or gone. That is not the actual case. If we select unhide all in the mixer section, we have a bigger mess, as all sorts of audio sources will show up and our 24c may no longer be active. Don't understand this background toggling between active and inactive either. Any ideas from you sage wonders?
