Hello lovely OBS community.
Recently I have purchased Dell Inspiron 5505 laptop, which has Ryzen 5 4500U 6 cores 6 threads and 8GB 3200MHz DDR4 RAM.
I was trying to use it as a dedicated streaming PC via NDI OBS and was trying to encode at x264 faster 936P 60FPS.
I thought 6 cores and 6 threads would be enough for that setting but I am getting my encoder overloaded. My main rig has R5 3600 and RX580 so when I stream off of my CPU I get performance impact and when I stream over my GPU my stream's quality decreases.
So is 6 cores and 6 threads really not enough for dedicated streaming at x264 faster? or is there something you guys can advice me.
All of my drivers are up to date and nothing but OBS is up and working while I am trying to stream.
Windows Update is closed as well as Windows Defender.
Games I stream (CS:GO, LoL, FH4)
