Hello Guys,
I tried to use the hardware encoding function, but it always crashes with an error message:
“obs starting the output failed please check the log for details, if you want to use nvenc or amd encoder, make sure the driver is up to date”
The problem I had with the software encoding was that the videos I recorded with obs were difficult to edit in the Davinci video editing software.
It was quite laggy even if I just played the video or skipped parts without any editing taking place.
I got the newest amd graphics driver (24.10.1 11.10.2024) available for my card
