Simple script for activating selected scene for certain amount of time. For example playing Instant Replay clip with a short cut key.

Installation:
Copy runInstantReplay.lua file into OBS scripts -folder
(C:\Program Files\obs-studio\data\obs-plugins\frontend-tools\scripts)

Add the Script from menu Tools - Scripts

Settings:
Parent Scene Name - select the scene where the used source is located
Source Name - select the source which will be activated/shown when script runs...

sorry but it didnt work for me. I do always watch the same first selected file. It never jump to the newest clip.

ok a few attempts later the problem seems to have been found. It does not work with the file name formatting of day and time. It works with a fixed name of the file.

But I actually want to keep more than one replay so that I can post them later as highlight clips.

Ok got it.
The Solution is your second script. The "instant-replay-file-manager-source-controlled.2079/" will help here as workaround.
It will save any clips in folders of my choice for later usage with the replay still working as intended, ty :)
btw your mic is to low on your youtube guide and your fans too loud.

Hi, sorry didn't notice your post previously. And happy you found the correct solution for your use case. :) I kept the guide short and it didn't cover the part of the actual instant replay setup and that this script runs the specific file, not the newest one.

I made this script for me initially since I had issues with ready plugins / scripts, but happily sharing it with anyone who gains some benefit of it.

And thank you for the feedback for the videos, I was rushing those out so didn't monitor audio levels too much.
