Ya'll have serious problems with 24.0.1 that makes that version unusable for my purposes. Specifics are below.
1) Show stopper, Priority 1 Critical Issue to be fixed now. When I am live streaming I also record the show for later editing and post production purposes. Live stream works fine UNTIL I start the recording. Once recording starts data stops reaching the provider (i.e. YouTube). OBS shows everything as fine and "green" status on the UI. BUT on the YouTube monitor side they are not receiving any data. This is a huge problem.
2) Priority 2 High Issue. Trying to stop the recording results in OBS hanging. It cannot shut down the recording cleanly. I think this has been reported elsewhere.
Aside from my computer specs I'm not sure how helpful the log file will be because OBS shows no obvious issues. It's only on the provider side when they stop receiving data that it become clear there's an issue.
Please address these problems b/c I really like OBS and right now I'm going to have to revert to version 23 which I have done and everything works again as expected and is very stable.
I should call out that my configurations have been meticulously set and have been stable, working flawlessly for two years. Until I performed the v.24 update.
