Hi guys i am a pretty new streamer but have good knowledge of all the settings within obs.

I have a dual pc setup with an elgato that sends through the video image from my gaming pc to my streaming pc

Specs:
Gaming PC
1080I7 7800KPrebuild all round top pc

Streaming pc
1060I7 7700kPrebuild as well

Ping 9, 20 upload, 93 download

anywere from 5k to 6k bitrate tried both

Now here is the problem.
I want to stream at 1080p with 60 fps wich works fine and looks great on stream all perfect at this point

I have streamed on nvenc and x264 on Streamlabs obs.
both worked fine and looked great all setting the max of the maximum for the best quilty

but as soon as i started to move in game not even fighting but just running in apex legends the stream began to tear/pixelated/blurry.
not unwatchable but my viewers noticed it and having such a expensive and good setup i would think that it would run without any problems

Because of this i swapped to normal obs and went to use the new encoder with the again the best settings possible, to non avail.

I get no frame drops and the bitrate is stable

Second Picture is me moving

I hope anyone know how to help,

Would appriciate it <3

Games with very fine details like grass and high motion will never look good at streaming bitrates. The only thing you can do is throw more bitrate at it or use a lower resolution so there is higher ratio of bits to pixels.

Hey thanks for your reply
So streaming 720P or 10K bitrate?

You can get away with 7-8k on Twitch before they remove Source quality, but generally most high motion games look better at 900p or 720p.

Can you update us on what happened im having the same issue

okee so yeah he was right i tried to stream at 8k bitrate you need like 20 mb upload to make that i have 40 and i also tried to stream 10 and 12 k i also tried 900p here my conclusion

If you can make up to 8k bitrate without any frame drops (so if you got 20mb upload or above) go for you can safely go 1080p 60 fps it has way les tearing then 6k with 1080p 60 fps didn,t notice much diffrence with 10 or 12k bitrate so go for 8k

But if you are not able to make 8k but only 4.5 to 6k go for 900p less overall tearing in heavily detailed woody areas
