Pause/Resume Recording Doubles or Triples CPU usage

Issue repeatable in two different systems. Pausing and resuming recording a video in the i5 system increases cpu usage from 10 to 20%. The 2200g + rx 580 system also increases cpu usage from 12 to 37%.

Is this temporary or does it last for a long time? it is probably common to see a small spike when beginning recording or unpausing, at least in my own experience.

It persists until the end of the recording.

You may want to label this post "Bug Report" and/or file an issue on the github repo in that case. It's not really something that can be fixed with a config change, of course.

I am experiencing the exact same thing.
If I just record.. it is around 5-7%. If I pause then unpause it shoots up to 30%+
I tried a bunch of setting and no luck.

how do you Pause / Resume the recording? I see the line to make a hotkey for it but it doesn't do anything on my Windows version.
