Question / Help only display text when it changes

Good morning all how we doing
So im unable to sleep and decided to work on my overlays and thought i would remove the static text (latest follow xxxx, latest sub xxxx, now playing song xxxx) and have it only display when it changes, but can not figure out how or even if this is a possibility Does such an option exist? Or is my sleep deprived brain wishing too much? Cheers all Wookie

If you use 3rd party overlays with the browser source that's something you have to configure on the website of that overlay provider(Or make your own browser based ones is you have programming skills). If you use a text source that pulls the information from a local text file then you might want to take a deeper look into obs scripting.
