Question / Help Offset sync not working

Hello there I have a problem with the offset sync not working.I stream from a capture device to obs and there is like 1.5 second delay and I want to delay my mic which is a blue snowball so everything matches but each time I put my mic offset to any number it does not work. I’ve tried -1500 and 1500 and other numbers and nothing happens , I’ve checked it on stream if it works but it did not do anything and stayed the same.

Make sure that your Sync Offset applied to the right track.

What do you mean by track ? Idk what that is

How you apply offset in OBS Studio? I mean - sound (audio) track where the source will be mixed, from main menu Edit>Advanced Audio Properties.
