Question / Help OBS websocket - how to use with Powershell/cmd using curl?

Hi, really simple question. I installed OBS websocket and have been trying for the better part of the last 4 hours to make a cURL call to no avail. I have a Powershell script that is automating many tasks, and literally the last remaining thing I need to finish my project is to start/stop recording. And hopefully just using cURL, I need to do very basic tasks so if I can keep it simple, that'd be ideal.

Any guidance or specific examples would be terrific and widely appreciated!
