I jumped yesterday to the world of the Virtual Camera because I discovered that on Windows is not possible to share my laptop's internal webcam between multiple apps (Zoom and Chrome in my case. With a OSX it is possible instead). I am testing many virtual camera software, from commercial to OBS' and they work great: I can share my Internal Webcam between multiple apps now.
But I have a question: would it be possible to use thirdy part software such as ffmpeg or VLC to have a simple redirection of my webcam to the OBS' virtual one? Or I do need OBS Studio for this? In the end I am not needing any fancy effect to my output video in Zoom or Chrome.
