Hello guys,
I encounter a problem with some lag spikes while streaming. I want to use obs studio lag stops me doing it. I have checked all the other things like another twitch server or even another streaming platform as well as my hardware is ok.
So i use windows 7 and obs classic to stream cause i have no lag problems with that. I check the minimize network impact box and in advanced settings i tick the automatic low latency mode. I tested recently to uncheck automatic latency mode and play with tuning factor in about 60 and it is fine as well.
Now in obs studio i click the enable low latency mode in advanced settings but i have many lag spikes in game. i play csgo so its very intensive to lag, i have like 51 ms and then it spikes to 80-91 ms and drops back to normal again and this keeps happening continiously. i have 5 mbs of upload and i use 3000 bitrate to stream. I tested various bitrate amounts and i found that in 1000 bitrate my lag issues are "fixed".
Droped frames are on 0% even with the lag spikes issue. I have tested bot x264 and nvenc but still the same. Its sad cause i want to use obs studio since obs classic is kinda outdated but i stream without problems on it! twitch.tv/equalcs if you want to see how my stream goes with obs classic. btw i stream on 720 30 fps and even the automatic setup gives me the same settings when i run the auto setup wizard. Same issue with windows 10 ofc.
Any ideas? all seems to run perfect in twitch inspector and staff so i am a little frustrated :(
i7 4770k
gtx 1060 6gb
8g ram
50 mbps ul / 5 mbps dl
obs studio version x64
speed tests on point without lags
twitch inspector 0 errors, quality excelent
all drivers updated, firewalls off, no antivirus, no background programs except csgo
obs classic runs smooth at 3000 even at 3500 with stable ms on automatic latency mode checked.
