I did a fresh install on a new notebook with the exact same external webcam as before.
On my new laptop the video is very bright in the preview.
It's like having a hundred flashlights pointed at my face.
Why is that?
I have NO filter enabled. My video settings are on standard.
I even uninstalled including all settings and cofiguration but same problem persists upon reinstall.
This only happens in OBS preview.
When i view my camera (not virtual obs, the actual camera source) in windows 11 camera app, the brightness is NOT there.
When i stream with my actual camera - not obs virtual - the brightness is not there.
When i turn on virtual cam in OBS and stream my virtual cam the brightness is not there.
It bothers me a lot that this happens only in obs preview. I want to finetune my cam but cant when the brightness is 10000% without any custom settings or filter on my side.
what is going on, how to fix this?
