OBS Media Source lagging while playing with AV1 recorded video

Hello, I made instant replay interface and recorded with 20s replay buffer. Then send that replay back to obs as media source. All as standard Instant replays but I did it with my fresh 4090 and av1 recording . Video and sound becomes laggy, not smooth while recorded file is butter smooth. Is it normal because NVENC records don't have any issues? log here (ignore Security Policy directive and Now Playing errors)

Try using an VLC source instead of video source.
Of course, you need VLC intalled in your system.

I'm not a developer, but that sounds like a 'bug' (or not yet implemented update?) to enable GPU decode offload for AV1 media content

How does AV1 recording play at native OS layer? I don't have such gear, so haven't looked into this in detail. Does your GPU provider/associated driver install an AV1 codec into the OS? If not, have you installed the AV1 Codec pack from MS?
