OBS DISCONNECTING AND RE-CONNECTING

I have been using OBS for a long time on the same internet connection. I use to only do a single PC stream but that was too hard on my frames. Never had any issues with disconnection on this. Now I use my gaming laptop now MSI g65 (solid specs), and every time i stream it disconnects and re-connects like 5 times before it holds stable for the rest of the stream. I use a Netgear 5 port gigabit unmanaged switch. Coming straight from my fiber line.

I do use Norton, which may be the issue? i did not have it on my gaming pc which worked fine.

set it to 1080p when your display is on 1080p

try a lower bitrate 4500 is good for 720p 60 fps


last but not least the killer nic make many problems when you google or look here in the forum many people have problems with it

haha i actually already did! so i am going to try it tonight with it off my laptop and see how it goes
