Question / Help OBS cant record at a decent quality

Every time I record ANYTHING OBS just records at more or less 4-5 FPS and pretty pixelated. I don't get why this is an issue, i've recorded at 1080p 60FPS before on other software with no problem. OBS just seems to not work at all.

You didn't change the color format setting to NV12. Set to NV12, hit apply button, then hit ok button.
Then exit and restart OBS.
