OBS and Droidcam - black screen cannot connect

Hi everyone, I wanted to use my new samsung S23 ultra as my second camera. I download Droidcam obs app to pc and it installed in the right place. I also downloaded app to the phone. I put IP in, but cannot get anything but a black screen. All apps updated today

Although I am nearly 70 years old, I thought I could work this problem out, but just not techy enough. Any help gratefully received

Be sure to pair and activate the Droidcam source in OBS with the phone app.
Open the phone app; then click [Refresh Device List] in your DroidCam source in OBS. Select the phone in the drop-down and click [Activate].

Sorry, just got the notification for your reply now.

hmm, then maybe something is up with the WiFi, since you also tried entering the IP directly and the connection did not succeed.
Have you tried the tips under "The plugin does not activate / Video does not start" at https://www.dev47apps.com/obs/usage.html#faq ?

Problems connecting a mobile phone using a wi-fi network.

Using an IP network, already on the same network as the cellphone I'm using, but the image doesn't appear. But if I use a cell phone network or mobile hotspot, it appears immediately. Can you help me. Thank you.

I've never used Droidcam, I have however used NDI without any problem. Download the app to your phone and install.
