Question / Help My camera settings change every time I tab into a game

This doesn't happen with every game, but sometimes when I tab into a game while obs is active (online or offline) my camera settings change. It causes the gain/ brightness to increase. However when I look at the camera settings no values actually change, but the brightness still does. When I tab back out of the game, it goes back to normal. I'm not sure what's going on, this only seems to happen with two games I play when I stream. The Division 2 and Monster Hunter: World.

I've tried going around the internet to find an answer but haven't found one. So any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advanced.

games in fullscreen? use window/borderless
fullscreen can change generally bright setting and if your cam use that as "base" it will change with it

I play my games in borderless window. Makes it easier to tab out if the game w/o actually tabbing out. Could there be another reason why?

That is good to know though. Thanks for the info

Did you ever find a fix for this? It just randomly started to happen to me.

hi did you ever find out what was causing this ?? it's happening to me now too
So I had the same problem. I use a Logitech webcam and I fixed it by changing my camera settings in the Logitech software. I adjusted the settings in there and locked it so it stays like that across all platforms. Hope this helps
