Question / Help Mic Audio Way To Quiet

I've been looking around for a bit on the forums here and haven't found anything that helped. So I decided to just make one. When I record, you can hear desktop audio perfectly fine, but you can barely hear my mic audio, I have the Mic/Aux balance bar all the way up (if that helps). Nothing I have tried has worked and I am just confused. If there is anything you need to know or see just let me know.

Here are some logs if needed. https://obsproject.com/logs/tMPbX0-jdfbHP5_H

How is the mic audio coming into the computer? Is it all just one combined USB plug from your headset, or are you using a 3.5mm cable plugged into one of your audio ports?

What db level does the mic peak at when talking normally?

The DB Level gets pretty close to yellow, around the -20 mark
As for the mic, it is a part of my headset (which is wired btw)

I dont know if any of that is what you meant but i hope so

Ok, just making sure.

Do you have any extra software that may control the volume of the mic separately? Also, I would check your windows recording device properties and make sure your mic levels aren't turned down there.

If nothing else seems to be lowering the volume, then you can always add more gain in OBS either by going to the advanced audio properties and setting a gain above 100%, or by adding a Gain audio filter set to a positive db value.
