Question / Help I just can't find the correct settings for my setup :(

Hey guys,
i have just built my new PC for livestreaming / gaming.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700 (OC -> as fast as an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X)
RAM: 2x 8GB DDR4 3400MHz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 (will be upgraded to a RTX 2080 soon)

Previously i had an Intel Core i5 4690 and an AMD RX 570 4GB so i thought that i would be able to stream at 1080p60 with a really nice quality. And yeah: well, i am able to stream at 1080p60 and the preset veryfast / faster / fast but it just doesn't look good. When i move quickly, everything gets blurry and it just isn't nice to watch. My internet connection should be able to handle these settings, i stream at 6000kbs (15000kbs upload speed). I want to get a nice quality while playing fast games like CS:GO or Fortnite. Which settings would you suggest? Thanks for your help!

Best Regards

(Sorry if my english is bad -> i am from Germany :b)

1080p60 at 6000kbps using the NVENC encoder in a 1060 is going to break up when fast motion occurs.

You probably need to decide between 1080p30 or 720p60 (or possibly 900p60 and the upscale)

Your GPU's NVENC version has encoding quality on par with x264@very fast.

Using a slower CPU preset helps somewhat but you are bitrate limited. 1080p@60FPS easily requires >10k bitrate to not look like a blurry mess in high motion sequences.

For 6000kbps, your only reasonable options are the ones mentioned in Narcogen post.
