Howdy, I've been trying to solve this problem on my own for quite a while but I figured I might find a solution faster here. As I was trying to set up a recording I saw that the little green bar had no movement of any kind when I spoke directly into the wired microphone. I tested them out speaking into a different device and I was able to be heard so I know it isn't the wired headphones being broken. I even tested out more pairs of wired headphones on my laptop and there were no differences, still no audio. I can hear recordings and music and things like that, but when I speak into the microphone there's nothing. I apologize if this sounds like a broken ramble, I've been awake for far too long trying to fix this problem on my own.
