Question / Help How do I get the video source to appear for live streaming?

Hi all!

I have a realtime H.264 Encoder (blackmagic design). I have also set everything up for the OBS for livestreaming (Restream.io) except the video source. I have selected "Blackmagic Device" and "Device" and "Mode" are red and the drop-down box contains nothing to select from. Am I doing anything wrong?

Exactly what BlackMagic device do you have?

At any rate, if it's not a Decklink card, add it as a video capture device, not a BlackMagic device.

Thanks, I tried it, we are now getting a webcam feed in (which is also connected to the computer). Not quite what i wanted but its a good start. I'll do a rummaging around. Thanks for your time and message!
