Question / Help Hotkeys not working outside of OBS

So I am running a second keyboard with LuaMacros. I set it up and mapped them into OBS to control it but they have now stopped working when I am not tabbed into OBS (they worked when I first did it over 6 hours ago before I restarted my PC).

Discord runs the macros fine, and if I map them to my main keyboard they still work when not tabbed into OBS. Does anyone know anything that can help with this?

I have tried running both as admin, only one at a time and both at the same time and nothing changes. It sometimes works if I spam the button but takes ages and is not consistent. There is no issue with the macros themselves either.

Same here. I tried it with LuaMacros alone, with LuaMacros and AutoHotkey working together, where LuaMacros only sends the keystrokes to AutoHotkey that should then handle the actual keypresses and with a totally different software called intercept.exe (for reference: https://github.com/TaranVH/2nd-keyboard/tree/master/Intercept).

Every time it works kinda reliable when tabbed into OBS, but when tabbed out, although OBS is running as administrator and hotkeys are set to be always enabled (I double and triple checked all of that) it sometimes doesn't work at all and sometimes works but is super laggy and basically uncontrollable, since you need to press the keys for half a second until something happens.

LuaMacros and intercept themselves do register the keystrokes right away, but OBS has a really hard time to recognize the keystrokes.

I have no idea what I could try at this point.
