((Sorry, dislexia struck and I posted before I wrote any message or attached the log file))
I'm trying to stream a game (Assetto Corsa Competizione) using a head tracking device (Tobii 4C) and FaceTrackNoIR (I have also tried OpenTrack, but that software crashes entirely more often than not). Without OBS running, the head tracker works smoothly outside and inside the game and as expected. Once OBS is running, the head tracker freezes intermittently, catching up every few seconds and freezing again for another few seconds and this is
not the desired outcome.
I found that disabling the OBS built-in websocket freed up the head tracker to work smoothly and as expected. I also use Touch Portal to control my stream, so the websocket staying enabled is
crucial to the operation. How do I straighten out this mess?
I have reached out to the
FaceTrackNoIR support forum several months ago before I knew that the OBS websocket could influence the head tracker's performance but I haven't heard back from any user, mod, or admin.
