Hello. My issue is as follows: I have searched on YouTube for many different kinds of OBS settings videos, and I have always been able to use obs. Minecraft, Terraria, Call of Duty, and every other game I have tried to use works absolutely perfectly. But whenever I try to stream, record, or even just watch the obs preview of my game, it is laggy. It is especially weird considering the fact that Fortnite is on my first monitor, but whenever I tab out of my game and go to obs on my second monitor, the preview looks perfect! But whenever I am actually playing, the game gives me 30-120 fps while obs keeps me at a solid 25. In my settings I have reinstalled, uninstalled, changed the fps settings, changed my bitrate, quality, Everything! But for some reason I am not able to stream this in my current state. I am able to stream 1080p 60fps with other programs, so I know my computer is capable, the only issue with those programs are that my audio is awful. Obs puts audio, video, and streaming necessities all together to make the perfect software for a YouTuber. I can try to record the issue for you guys, but I might not be able to show both monitors, I am not sure how I will do that.
To sum up my issue: Every game except for Fortnite has great fps whenever I stream with obs. But, my preview and stream are always looking really bad unless I am tabbed out. If anyone can help, please contact me on discord: Quitsdrop #7258
