Hello, I have been recording and playing for awhile and have plenty of footage that has worked fine that I've uploaded to youtube. I don't know what has changed because my settings still look fine to me but I am trying to do a new recording with the newly PC released Horizon Zero Dawn and it is having none of it. I've had it happen a couple of times where I would play a game and the gameplay was fine but I go back to the recording and it is quite choppy but this one I can't even do anything myself. Also no audio besides my microphone is being recorded. Any help is very appreciated as this is a fun hobby for me. Thank you!

1. Update to Windows 10 1909 or 2004 (if available) per https://obsproject.com/blog/five-simple-tips-for-new-streamers
2. Download and install newest version of OBS from https://obsproject.com/download
3. To ensure that OBS Studio has the hardware resources it needs for realtime streaming and recording, we recommend disabling the "Game DVR Background Recording" feature via these instructions.
4. Run OBS as Admin
5. Display and Game Capture Sources interfere with each other. Never put them in the same scene.

Post new log or use log analyzer after making those changes.

I will try this and let you know if it clears it up. Thank you!

Sorry for the long reply, I have to say this from my phone. I have done all of these tasks and now my computer will not operate at all. It will start up fine but it won’t execute a single task. I can’t even get it to launch task manager it just loads.

I had to restore my computer and lost everything when I updated. Still don't know what happened between that update, can't be helped. But now I still have an encoding problem but it isn't as bad as before. It's still really bad though, new log drop here if anyone can help I appreciate it!
