Hi all,
I've been running into an issue with the Elgato HD60 Pro while attempting to record through OBS Studio (latest version). Whenever I use the "Game Capture HD60 Pro (Video) (#01)" helper device, the recorded video has a slight frame stutter every 10-30 seconds. Using the standard "Elgato Game Capture HD" results in a buttery smooth image but often causes video/audio to drift out of sync over time. Hense the reason for using the helper device.
I will include an OBS log and Elgato settings image, along with a short video showing the stutters. They aren't extremely noticeable by themselves, but when watching a full gameplay video, you will be able to pick out the stutters easily.
OBS Log
Video of stutters
PC Specs:
i7-4790K
16GB's DDR3 RAM
MSI GTX 980Ti 6GB GPU
250GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD (for recording)
Things i've tried:
Setting Priority of OBS Studio to High
Setting Nvidia to "Prefer Maximum Performance"
Set Power Options in Windows to "High Performance"
If anyone has any clue as to why this is an issue, please let me know.
-Dylan
