Morning All,
Thanks for your help in advance!
So i am having issues with using DUAL PC and Elgato's. Setup is Gaming PC with nothing on, HDMI from GFX to Elgato. Then USB to stream PC. All software streaming etc on stream PC. This is same setup on both PC's except 1 is internal on the Mboard and other is external.
1st PC with the Elgato external card HD60S plugged in. The gaming PC is having issues, the gaming PC keeps freezing. Randomly. Then have to restart. Also when i turn off the PC sometimes it just dosent turn off. Its as if the caputre card is having an affect on the gaming PC which is bizzare as its only plugged into the HDMI. Maybe the PC is reading that the Elgato is doing something and therefore not turning the PC off? Not sure. This PC has OBS installed and we use the mirror to cap card way of sending the image to the stream PC. I cant mirror this one as this only allows 60fps then on the gaming pc.
2nd PC with the Elgato INTERNAL card 4k60pro, this has no software on the gaming PC as this seems to allow us to duplicate the image and keep my gaming PC at 360hz 1440. The issue with this one is the capture card seems to cause some sort of input lag on my game. When playing Warzone for years now ive been having mad weird lag. Like the enemy not where they are on the screens etc. I always put this down to my internet. But recently i was having issues of DEV ERRORS galore on warzone when i lowered the game down to desktop. This then got me to unplug my cap card and that fixed the issue. Both issues. But i have no idea why the Stream PC cap card is having this affect on the gaming PC.
The above on the 2nd PC is what then made me unplug the external on the 1st PC and all issues stopped.
I literally just plug them in and turn them on. So not sure if its something i haven't set up or something i need to do to solve the issues? Has anyone else been having the same and know the fix. I want to keep streaming but cant atm. I cant and don't believe that i have 2 fault capture cards. Surely not!
Any help in advanced would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers
