Heyo!
Let me start by saying, that I am using a 144Hz main monitor, and a 60Hz secondary monitor.
This itself does cause issues in specific cases, however, this one only appears when I try streaming csgo.
Basically, whenever OBS is opened, and I'm trying to stream CS, it will cause the game to loose its 144Hz refresh rate, and cap it down to 60 or even 30, i honestly don't know, making the game unplayable.
Now let me give you some additional info.
It doesn't seem to matter wether I run OBS ony my main monitor or the secondary one, neither does it matter if the preview is disabled or the window minimized, tested on both monitors. Also tested with all available encoders.
The weird thing is, that CS is the only game causing those issues...
I can stream PUBG on my 144Hz monitor, while OBS is opened with the preview enabled on my 60Hz monitor, without PUBG dropping down to 60Hz, it feels perfectly fine, no difference in smoothness, and yes I do get 170-180 FPS in PUBG, so it's not because the average FPS is lower.
Also, I havn't encountered this issue with any other game either :/ I probably streamed 15+ different games, always with OBS on my second monitor, despite it being 60Hz, it never caused issues with my 144Hz monitor in regards of refresh rate, so I can't wrap my head around why CS is the only game causing it :(
CPU/GPU usage are perfectly fine no matter which encoder I'm using too, somebody help me out please :<
