Hello. I'm wondering if anyone has any fixes or experiences with Capture Cards deciding to display nothing.
Its come up just recently but my capture card [and camera] has decided to randomly stop working from time to time. It doesn't show the "No Video" or "HDCP Lock" screen, it just doesn't appear at all, even in the "Properties" preview. It has gotten to the point where I spent 2 hours before streaming playing russian roulette with the damn thing until it worked and left OBS on so it would stay working. It recognizes both my camera [Logi C270 HD WebCam] and my Capture Card [EVGA XR1 Lite Capture Box Video] when choosing a video source, but the only thing that comes through is the audio because I had to put it on a separate source to stop the stacking delay issue that the EVGA XR1 Lite has. For context I've tried:
- Deactivating and Reactivating the Device in OBS
- Unplugging and Replugging the Device [both power and HDMI]
- I've made sure OBS has access to my cameras
- Turning on and off my Console [PS5 HDCP Off]
- Closing, opening, and restarting OBS
- Restarting my computer
The only thing that has slightly worked was turning OBS off and on but that hasn't worked at all today. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong or any settings I need to change let me know [Settings for my capture card on OBS are linked here]
