Question / Help Cannot Select Actual Mac Resolution

Hello,

So I have an interesting issue (bug?) when using OBS. After adding my display, I cannot select a base canvas resolution that actually represents the resolution of my screen (2880 x 1800), but can only select 1920 x 1200 (what the mac "looks like" under the display settings), 1920 x 1080, and 1280 x 720. Why is this the case and how do I fix it?

Well, that's very helpful. Thanks! Unfortunately, when I do that (set my base and canvas resolution to 2880 x 1800 and my output resolution to 2880x1800), a good chunk of my screen is cropped from the bottom-right corner and not visible when recording (see attached screenshot, the red box only covers part of the screen).

If you've set the display to "look like" 1920x1200 then that's probably all OBS can see. If you want OBS to see 2880x1800 then that's what you should set Displays to.
