Question / Help Bizarre Recording Issue

I try to record Krita, my art program, but when I select krita, instead it has me record OBS itself, and within that obs window, it displays an image from my computer that I often use as a background image when I record, which I have removed from my scene. Please help.

Strangely twitch's studio program works for capturing it.

Yeah display capture doesn't work either.

Though krita sometimes works in obs studio?
It's a shot in the dark on if it will capture sometimes. Last Thurs wasn't capturing & now today it's working?

I'm using window capture.

I found a way to stream Krita using OBS. This is using OBS version 26.0 - September 29th. I am using a Windows 10 laptop.

I have a Display Capture set to: 1920x1080, and I have Window Capture set to: (see screenshot).
