Hey all,

I finally have got everything I wanted to get for my computer to run all my tasks both video editing and gaming. I have now encountered a big problem for myself which is the main reason I invested in building a computer was being able to use my Avermedia Live Gamer Plus 2 (GC513). I'm not certain if I overestimated my computer but, when I record my videos in obs they look:
1. Pixelated
2. Plays smooth for about 10 seconds then hops
3. Appears to skip some Frames via playback
4. Laggy Footage In General

I would like to believe that I have used every piece of information that I could find to help me, I have spent hours trying to solve the issue at this point I'm out of my depth. If there is someone with the answers I would greatly appreciate all the help you could give me. I have several logs

Run the Auto-Configuration Wizard and it will suggest some settings for you.

Other notes:

00:22:33.362: YUV mode: 709/Full

Change this to 709/Partial.

Use CRF rate control for local recording, with a CRF value between 14 (high quality) and 23 (good quality). CBR and a set bitrate is primarily for streaming.

The only time I see significant lag in the logfile is when you attempt to record 4k.

00:43:44.884: rate_control: CBR
00:43:44.884: bitrate: 60000
00:43:44.884: buffer size: 60000
00:43:44.884: crf: 0
00:43:44.884: fps_num: 60
00:43:44.884: fps_den: 1
00:43:44.884: width: 3840
00:43:44.884: height: 2160
00:43:44.884: keyint: 250

00:45:56.625: Video stopped, number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 3540/7893 (44.8%)

What are you playing back your recordings in?
