Question / Help Audio input Signal Drops intermittently

Hi All,

OBS studio's Audio input drops audio intermittently, only fix is to restart OBS.

Does anyone have this issue where all of a sudden audio drops out? any solutions ? thanks in advance

Configuration:
Production PC
Windows PC - i7 8700K, 32 GB RAM, GTX 1060 Grpahics card

Streaming PC
1. Windows Laptop i7 8700, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1060 Graphics Card SSD Drive
2. Behringer U-Phoria UMC202HD capturing audio via balanced 1/4 inch TRS jacks. Audio input coming from the Production PC.
3. Avermedia LGX video capture card - capturing HDMI signal from Production PC.
4. Logitec Webcam HD 1080p
5. Canon Legria / Vixia r806 Camera - connected to Streaming PC via HDMI to USB 3 converter - Elgato CamLink

The solution is to drop OBS.

DO NOT USE IT.

Don't waste your time on it.

I've had the same problem and this bug is here since 2014.

That's right. SIX YEARS, and they don't do shit to fix it.

The people who created this piece of crap are just amateurs who don' know what they're doing.

I have the same problem - mic sound drops out half way through & i have to reload OBS. One solution so far is to ensure that the mic selected is not 'default' or 'system' - picking a specific mike has stopped it for the last stream I did.


btw That's not very helpful @MikeMynis . If you don't like the ap, then at least answer with the solution you have found.
