Hi

Im hoping some has an answer for me on this, No matter what filters i try to add there is a constant tinny/echo sound in obs that goes into the stream, but when i hear myself on someone elses stream via discord is fine, no tinny sound at all. What do I ned to do to resolve this issue as its driving me nuts. Thanks

Same here! I've followed every tutorial, checked every setting, and nothing seems to work. I have no hidden channels functioning and I've tried different mics and headphones but nothing seems to work. It only happens in OBS/Streamelements.

I would love a solution. Streamelements are pretty poor at getting back to me so far.

If you have issues with streamelements you have to contact their support. It's well known the plugin breaks OBS.

You can remove that plugin too.
Use the uninstaller they provide to do so. Then go to %appdata%\obs-studio\ and find and manually delete the leftover files they keep in there for no real reason as this files keeps interacting with OBS causing problems.
Now, uninstall and reinstall OBS in order to fix any other change this plugin may have perform on your OBS installation.

PROGRESS! I uninstalled and deleted files, but the problem remains. So it looks like the problem is with OBS. Doing a reinstall now.

Thanks again

Historically, that plugin was reported to make change to core part of OBS Studio, such that uninstalling did NOT completely remove the changes the plugin made (piss poor/lazy coding/uninstall on their part). Not sure about now, but haven't heard this changed (I don't know). So... not appropriate to conclude OBS Studio is the problem until after an OBS Studio reinstall... and even then, to truly do a clean test of OBS Studio... use a portable install (other directory) with no plugins, effects, filters and test again
