When I record videos using OBS, whether I'm using a microphone or playing back system audio, the audio fades in over the first couple of seconds, which usually means the first few words I say (when on mic) are unintelligible. When using system audio, if there are sounds at the beginning of the recording, those fade in too.
It seems to be most noticeable when the sound comes after some silence if that helps.
Is there some OBS setting that I'm missing that is causing this? I've tried various options in the Windows audio settings and control panel.
My workaround to date has been to simply say a bunch of test phrases when I start recording, to get past the fade in.
I don't get the same fade-in issue when using Windows Voice Recorder or Audacity, so I suspect that it might not be a Windows setting, but I can't say for sure.
Thanks in advance.
