I've seen a million threads and videos on the OBS black screen problem, and because of those resources I've been able to remedy this issue in the past except now. In all modes (however I only use display capture for recording web pages), there is a black screen where only the cursor is visible. I'm running Windows 10 on a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Gaming laptop with Radeon rx 560 Graphics.
I went to my Radeon settings and made sure every recent or in-use app who's GPU was switchable (not locked) was set to power saving mode. This usually does the trick for me whenever an update causes OBS to throw a fit. In going through this procedure this time, no luck. Still black screen. My log file for my latest OBS run is posted below:
