    wheres HEVC?

    Good afternoon. I have OBS version 29.1.3 and I would like to know where the HEVC encoder function disappeared? Why I have only h.264 left? is that supposed to be the case, or am I missing something? thanks

    OBS 29.1.2 MS HEVC installed, cannot select HEVC in output

    Hello, I just installed the Microsoft HEVC codec on a Windows 11 x64 machine. When I start media player I can view HEVC encoded files. But when I open OBS , I still cannot select HEVC in output settings. I included the log files. How can I fix this?

    How do I set up OBS Studio recording with ffmpeg to be in the same encoding for size reduction?

    Command: ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -vcodec libx265 -crf 28 output.mp4 This command does a pretty good job of reducing the video size.
