This script is able to update a text (GDI+) source based on lines in a text file. It's designed to take lyrics from a text file and display them. It's configurable to display any number of lines from the text file at one time. Set hotkeys in settings to scroll through the lyrics.

I've been looking for an easy-to-use tool for a long time that would allow me to show the name of the song during a live stream with the click of a button.

Works well as a workaround to a function that I'd expect to see in the standard Text (GDI+) tool. (Being able to set the number of lines of a text file to be shown, and then being able to advance it (not scroll it) to the next lines in that file.)
