Lower Third 1 always red, not activating nor previewing

Hello guys,

I've installed and set Lower Thirds up but the first slot is always red and I can't figure out what to do to make it active. I can't even preview it.

I feel it is something very simple that I'm missing, but I really have no clue what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for your help.

I got mine working in 28.1.2 by making sure that instead of "local file" for browser source, I unticked it and then entered a url like "file:///F:/obs-studio/data/obs-plugins/frontend-tools/scripts/browser-source.html" and also the same for when I added dock. It's easier to get the file:// url by opening browser-source.html and control-panel.html directly into the browser, and then copy it from the address bar and then pasting it into obs. After I did that I was able to get animated lower thirds working.

Thanks for your help, but unfortunately they did not work. Both the dock and the source were set up as local files (as the images below show) but I still get the red square.

I had this issue right now. The solution seems to be to have the exact same string in the directory part. I would guess, that "/" and "\" are not the same for OBS?

I came across the same problem as you and this corrected it.
